Solvent free silane and penetrative water repellent impregnation for concrete and masonry
Description
Tii Guard is high concentrate active content product which has capability to penetrate deeply hydrophobation based on silane into porous substrates and creates water vapor permeable invisible protection.
Tii Guard provides a protective water repellent impregnating treatment and works to stops alkali / silica reaction in
concrete. The treatment of this this product is not affected by UV light and does not produce any discoloration of the
substrates
Tii Guard is complying with standard BS EN 1504-2
Uses
Surface applied protection for in situ and precast concrete to prevent ingress of water and water borne salts whilst
still permitting water vapor transmission.

Application Procedure
Surface preparation:
All caulking, joint sealants, repairing and patching of concrete surface shall be installed and cured before application
of this product
Prior to application of Tii Guard, concrete surface shall be cleaned by high pressure water and mild chemical cleaner (as needed) of all dust, dirt, debris, grease, oil, grout mortar and other foreign material.
Application:
Tii Guard can be used directly from the container (no mixing is required), do not dilute with water or solvents
Concrete water repellent should be applied in accordance to the correct rates of application and overcoating times
are observed using either brush, roller or spray.
Tii Guard shall be applied to concrete surface with a net coverage 250 ml per square meters. And for second coating shall be done at minimum 6 hours. Apply by low pressure spray and brush ensuring complete surface coverage. On vertical surfaces Tii Guard should be flooded on starting at the bottom, working steadily upward. Surfaces should be protected from rain for at least 6 hours after completion.
Cleaning
Equipment should be cleaned with proper solvent or thinner immediately after used. Any spillage should be
absorbed with sand or sawdust etc. and disposed off in accordance with local regulations
Storage / Packaging
Storage stability : 12 months in original unopened container, store under cover and out of direct sunlight and
protect from extreme temperature
Packaging : 200 ltr and 900 ltr
Safety Precautions
As with all chemical products, care should be taken during use and storage to avoid contact with eyes, mouth, skin and foodstuffs. Wearing proper PPE is a must, do not take PPE off during handling this product.
Treat splashes to eye and skin immediately. If accidentally ingested, seek medical attention. Use in well ventilated
areas and avoid inhalation.
